Erin Lynch received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University in 1997. She went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and was granted her MSW degree in 1998. Erin is currently a board certified licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri and has 14 years of experience in both outpatient and residential settings. Erin works with children over the age of 10; adolescents; adults; couples and families. She also has experience working with the elderly. Erin specializes in treating depression, ADHD, and anxiety; however, she also has experience working with athletes, Asperger’s, bipolar disorder, marital and relationship issues, parenting issues, and women’s issues. Erin believes in creating a collaborative therapeutic environment that is person centered and uses strengths based approaches. Some of the therapeutic techniques that Erin employs are: cognitive behavioral therapy; ACT; mindfulness practices; and narrative therapy techniques. Erin firmly believes in a client’s right to self-determination and believes that allowing clients to build upon existing strengths, while creating new skills, creates a more fulfilling reality for those seeking assistance.
